Oh yeah I can't set one on land. Could I set one with the bottom of it in the water on a slide You'll have to read your regs. It should specify. Some states say fully submerged (no metal above the water), some say half submerged, and some say just touching water.

From what I have read all it says in water and with in 10 feet of water so I can set one on the bank.

Don't worry I'll be careful no one around where I'll be trapping coon hunts there any way and I can't set a 330 on land any way its to big. Only with in 10 feet of water
