Well with fur prices in the tank again this past year, I have decided to just focus on getting a few critters on my hitlist. I live in Lancaster County, PA and am looking to get a few muskrats, and a grey fox or two. Willing to travel if need be, was hoping someone from this area knows a direction I can go in search of either goal. Muskrats are few and far between locally. And greys I have no idea how far north I'll have to go. Any help no matter how slight would be appreciated.

not all fur is in the tank. Coyote prices are actually pretty good. We have the eastern coyote here also. I have caught good ones and poor ones. But being there isn't many people going after them there has been to many in my opinion around. So why not go after them. With low prices it is a good time to try new things and experiment. Even going after coyotes you might end up with some incidentals in fox or coon. The last few years I have focused more on coyotes then anything. Good time to learn.

I'd almost tell you drive South for grey foxes. More land to trap that you'll get permission and more Grey's.

Hit the Carolinas or Georgia and wear out otters while you're there.

If you want a few rats from the tide meadows, let me know I am about an 1 to 1.5 hour drive from ya. We have Greys But you have to use cable on them.

I've trapped Lancaster/Berks for 40 yrs and maybe have caught 2-3 GF...but I'm trapping RF and coon - 2 yrs ago I saw a GF roadkill on 222 that boarders one of my best pieces of RF ground - it's full of thick brush and wet where the GF was hit. But up in Tioga County I catch GF regularly - thicker brush, less open land greater population I suppose.

That's awfully generous of you pcr. Many kudos to you for making the offer!
