Hello all, been awhile. been back reading for a few days. trapping has been on the back burner for me last few seasons. anyway back at it this upcoming season. I bought some traps from an older gentleman a few years ago and never did anything with them. I am going to post them for trade or sale on trap shed but I don't want to rip or be ripped off. anyways I have 16 #1 1/2 longs victors. all have surface rust but are good solid strong traps, I have 7 #1 victor longs. 1 number 11 victor. and a 1 1/2 jaw sized dbl long. aren't these referred to as #2 longs? also have a #1 jump and a #2 jump. both frames look bowed a tiny amount in middle. not sure if frames are bent or that's how they are. anyways any help would be greatly appreciated

The jump frames are supposed to be that way.

On jumps the base IS the spring, set them and you will see they straighten out, and when they fire, it will retake the bow, and sort of makes the trap "JUMP".
#2 longs are a different size from 1-1/2's regardless of how many springs.
FWIW: When I sell a decent used trap, I just figure 3/4 of a new Duke price.

ahhh thanks I thought they were supposed to be but didn't want to say for sure. I have forgotten what to call the dbl longs. they have the same jaw size as a 1 1/2 long but have two springs.

The double longs should be #2's.
