Jonathan OP "Wilson" Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 10,488 Northwestern New York(Elder)	After a much needed rain to quench the near drought conditions, with a north wind, and a temperature drop from the 90's to 60's, these species showed up. Jonathan Female Bobolink Indigo Bunting Savannah Sparrow Willow Flycatcher - with band on left leg Camera Gear: Canon EOS 7D-MK-II, Canon EF-S 10-22mm, EF 28-135mm, EF 100-400mm and EF 400mm lenses.

I added a photo below of that same bird showing plumage detail, but the band is not very visible. The master banded that I worked with could tell by the birds figity response and the calls As for the origins of the capture spot. Only if you can get a good pic of the band can the mystery be solved Sometimes the first 3 prefixes and the last 3 can narrow the search I really miss the “ bird in the hand” experience
