Rabbits are host to a good many parasites, some from digesting snail or slug eggs on the plants they eat.
The parasite is inside the egg, which hatches inside the body.
Also, they get a disease commonly called 'Snuffles', which can kill them.
A rabbit can not breath through it's mouth, so if it's nostrils get filled with mucus, game ov'a !
