I have a ? about horse hoof lure . I have a jug aging and there is mold growing on top , is it junk or is it O.K. ? Thanks in advance .

I would open it and take a good big sniff and if you don't throw up then it's junk. Lol

On a serious note. I'm not a bait or lure expert but if it is floating on top of the water I would try to skim it off.

Have you opened it ? I don't think that you could possibly ruin that formulation. If it stinks to high heaven then it's don't right.

It stinks thats for sure . There was some manure on the hoofs , I rinsed them but must not of got it all . Thanks for replies .

that stuff smells like manure. those hooves were probably fine.

ever seen where coyotes drag a deer hide around somebody tossed out in a pasture? stake or tie one down in some appropriate cover. pour some hoof juice on it or some fish juice after making sun rendered fish oil. hang snares. only good use I ever found for either one.

And then hope you catch the yote BEFORE he rolls in that garbage. Ain’t no way in heck I’m throwing a yote that smells like that stuff in my truck...not one of our $25 yotes anyhow. Lol
