Jonathan OP "Wilson" Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 10,488 Northwestern New York(Elder)	A neighbor showed me this photo of an unknown flower sent by a friend who has a few plants growing in a border next to the house. It doesn't appear very tall. That is about all I know about it. It is located 4 miles south of where I live on Lake Ontario. The photo was taken yesterday. The flower buds, visible petal folds, clusters, color and serrated leaves may be enough for an ID. Jonathan Camera Gear: Canon EOS 7D-MK-II, Canon EF-S 10-22mm, EF 28-135mm, EF 100-400mm and EF 400mm lenses.

Drakej trapper D Joined: Dec 2007 Posts: 1,513 Kanabec Cty, MN	Here the pink ones are a bred hybrid of the variety 'Hot Lips'(hybrids don't often seed true), they are more compact and more blooms than the native white turtlehead. I've learned enough thru the years to now know that I don't know enough. KNOWLEDGE IS FREEDOM.
