Good locks that lock up tight but I never could find a way to get them rigged in such a way as they closed super fast like cam-locks on loaded snares. I only used the larger sizes on 3/32 cable.

This is how grawes shows how to use em.

Which is alright I guess for unloaded snares. Ive always ran them with the gooseneck bends(3 90* bends). For breakaways, I run the amberg release ferrules.

I've got a whole video on my channel dedicated to different bends with different locks.
I jumped the start time ahead to 5:16 to get you to where the grawes lock is then finish up with the grawe again with the gooseneck towards the end of the video

Regular 90 works well on the BMI minis too. Really not much difference other than scale from the sure lock.

To me the 90 is lower profile but the gooseneck is fastest on most locks. Whichever fits your fancy.
