How many gallons of bait or lure will a gallon of fish oil make?

Does anybody recall, was it Carlis or Cletis that had a pic on here a few years ago of the top oil that they had rendered? I believe the stuff we bought was actually the sludge maybe? Anthony, do you know?

I know there was the really dark stuff and some lighter colored stuff that seemed to have more particles floating in it. Matt said the dark stuff was the stuff you wanted. All I know is it works.

Thanks tjm ive tried that several times! I end up with oily fish juice! I've asked several top lure and bait makers they all tell me pure fish oil will not freeze! So I freezer test every draw and its all froze! I havent tried a quanity of spoonbill yet! my next successful snagging trip I entend to save everything but the guts! I've done extensive research on the process and what to watch for. Spoonbill has two different oils from all ive gathered The black oil then theres a clearer yellowish oil

Process is the same, but the end product is different as far as odor goes.
