All I can see on pan is No 1 and a hec or heo on top i can't read the rest of the letters. Says Pat. on bottom of pan under no 1

It has a really long pan arm and a short dog too

Are they worth anything? I got it in a bunch of old traps I bought yesterday. Got some split post new houses, a diamond spiral spring, some old forged Victor's, a few triumphs and a WA Gibbs cs.

That is a rather nice 100 plus year old No 1 Hector made by PS&W If you look at the right side of the right jaw where it contacts the spring when set you will see a bulge that holds the spring on that side lower than the left side which was to permit the left jaw to lay flat. There might be patent dates inside the jaws but few smaller sizes had those. Good find and worth about 40.00 in my opinion.

Thanks for the info. The whole lot of traps was a good find for what I paid for them.

Here some pics of the rest, the #4 newhouse is missing it's dog but I paid less then a new 110 Bridger for it.

I always liked the little Diamonds. One guy told me they are "cute".
