Man i was so excited i made a dirt hole next to a brush pile (trap was on a short chain so he couldnt get tangled up) and i made a horseshoe out of brush ( to make a almost natural funnel) with my dirt hole and my trap anout 8 inches behind and caught him almost perfect catch right accross the top of the paw. I know you will have a lot of confidence in sets that mimic that first catch set but to be a really great trapper you need to be able to adapt to a variety of situations and conditions. Keep trying new and different sets and learn from each success and failure.
