Ya beav mine is 7' it will pull them to the nose then I just lean on the carcass to get the extra inch. my 1200 lb atv winch pulls as fast as id care to go. lol remember bad things happen at high speed! If you keep a trickle charger on your battery. You can get away with a battery that has a dead or weak cell.My first battery wouldn't hold a charge in cold weather but worked for a winch. But I cant deny a 110volt is considerabley safer! Have a battery blow up on you its a eye opener or a permanent closer!

That winch is a nice set up. Wouldn't a foot operated system be even better to free both hands at once?

I have watched that video before and every time I do I tell myself that is the way to go. The older a person gets the need for one of those grows. Got to get one.

I use a hand crank boat winch. I’m cheap. An electrically powered one would be better!
