For me I made a small bag out of a old pair of jeans and made a strap out of the jeans also and use it that way. The coyotes and anything else I trap dose not matter to them.

Here ya go. Jim is always coming up with great products.
http://www.jcconner.com/accessories.html That's an elegantly simple design. I haven't figured out a really good method for carrying snares on my cat line except ziplocs in the top of my backpack. Tools and support wire are usually just stuffed in a side pouch. The whole thing is a big mess to unpack on the side of a slush covered hill and everything comes out in a big wad. I like Jim's purpose built pouch with everything you need neatly in one place. His chaps are nice too.

I have heard the the muskrat bag from Montana trapper bags is pretty nice for snares. https://www.montanatrapperbags.com/product-page/muskrat-bagI really like JC Conner's bag but it seems too small for what I carry when hanging snares. I want those chaps tho!!

I get these oversized carbine clips they have like a foam handle on them have the cable rolled up an snap in clip can fit about 2-3 dozen per clip Ive done that before but unless you are in pretty wide open territory, it doesnt protect the snares and you'll have a mess.

We coiled ours up and put them in clean 3qt ice cream plastic pails with lids and handles. You can write with a sharpie on lid the contents of each bucket. Super light to carry and can put a dozen or so in a bucket no problem. Jim

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

Wear a fly fishing vest, the 2 lower pockets hold a bunch of snares. If needed the back game pouch can hold even more
