I have been messing around with belly wires on 110 triggers for awhile and don't see a negative to using them. I have been using green floral wire as it seems to work the best for me.I know others use monofilament or even plastic tubing.

Should I just keep it on my dedicated 120s or should I go all out and do all the 110s just in case?

silicon tubing and mono is all you need. The Non "taut" belly catch is the way to go.

Use them on my 220’s set over otter holes and pick up a lot of mink because of them.

I did something different.

This is what I use in my mink boxes.
I think they will work on blind set as well

I think you have something there wetdog

I use florist wire too but I make my wires in a circle about 2 1/2 to 3'' around then I cut the bottom 1/3 off the circle and use the florist wire to fill in that space. I don't think I miss too many. I like the circle shape. It centers them in the '' hole'' and when you put a trap in a grassy trail it looks more natural to have a circle shaped trigger.

Just passin through

Wet dog, I believe I would bend that trigger the other way so that when the trap fires it will pull the triggerpan away from the closing jaws rather than push it into them. Experience tells me this.

bmi sold a lot of traps just cause of that trigger they have.i like circle triggers but the sharp ends need a lot of grinding.super sharp glove and critter pokers i learned about the hard way.

Led I believe you are right.
This is my mink box set up. The way my boxes are made the trap sets 8" back from the opening, when they go off the hit the door every time.
I will switch some to the
inside for trail sets.
Thanks

Switch all to the inside jaw, but have the trigger pan go out. Then it will work.
