Can anyone tell me how old this trap is and if it has much collector value? Thanks.

if the trap has a straight cross it would be 1890 - 1900's. $30 - $50 depending on condition. If it has a humped cross 1900 - 1910 $25 - $40. This what I can find. Somebody else might know more.

Your trap was made right around 1900,give or take a few years. The Patent date for the humped cross is May 28, '07. And,it doesn't have the Dec. 16, '02 patent either. It has a replaced jaw, I would say collector value is around $15 to $20.

Thanks for the replies. I knew it was older than the humped cross patent but I couldn't find much information on the internet.
