To see the difference between equality of opportunity and equality of outcome, look no further than California's new law demanding women on all publicly traded company boards.

Not only is this an egregious defamation to all women who have rightfully earned a spot on any board of directors, it is a pure example of UN-American policy. Any inkling of any policy that puts any other trait above competency when dealing with privately owned business (publicly traded companies are very much owned by private citizens) needs to be stopped ASAP and ridiculed mercilessly until it is stopped.

They are just creating another protected class. The only class that want be protected is the white male.

You would think successful women would not want this, have to put an * by their name.

When women are completely treated equally as men sex will just be a three letter word.

On its face this law may seem to pit man vs. woman, but upon closer inspection it pits competence vs. incompetence. The latter is much more insidious and dangerous to freedom than the former.
For example, if a female who earned her place on a board through merit did in fact demand an asterisk behind her name to denote a position of competence rather than through a post modernist neo-marxist policy, the neo-Marxists would turn against the competent female and call her a part of the oppressive patriarchy. This is very dangerous stuff, people.

Can't believe it's even legal, having said that in this day and age and lack of qualified people for every job description I find it hard to believe a company would turn a blind eye to ANY QUALIFIED PERSON. May the best man win. whoops

They don't want equal treatment for all of these groups they single out, they want special treatment.
