This vintage issue of Trappers World magazine is dated February 1947, the magazine contains 32 pages and is in fair condition, there are what I call "mouse chewings" which can be seen in the picture, they occur at the very bottom of the magazine, a previous owner also punched two holes along the inside edge, I suppose they were made to store in a notebook of some sort. The front cover shows a coon in a trap the picture was taken by E. J. Dailey. This issue has an All Star cast of authors. Some of the articles are; Trapline Learning by Herbert Lenon, Trapping Foxes in the Snow by Leslie Smith, Hard Hoofing on Long Lines by John Ehn, Lures and Scents and How to Use Them by E. J. Dailey, Trapping Mink in Dry Sets by J. Curtis Grigg, Suspicion Removers-Trap Odorizers-Fear Eliminators by E. F. Keith and Modern Scents and Their Use by V. E. Tingley. $7.50 SHIPPED.




This vintage issue of Trappers World magazine is dated June 1948, the magazine contains 16 pages and is in good to nice condtion, there is a tear on the back cover with a very small section missing. The front cover shows a grey fox trapped by Henry Woodrow of Ohio. There is an enclosure from Clayton Gates informing the reader that he completely reorganized Trappers World magazine. Some of the articles in this issue are; I Begin Trapping by Eugene Klonglan, Trappers Roundup by John Ehn, Tales of the Trapline by August Setag and My Weasel Trapline by Betty Hartman. $8.00 SHIPPED.




his vintage issue of Trappers World magazine is dated May 1948. The magazine contains 16 pages and is in nice condition, the front cover was a photo of a Gray Fox by Gene Hill. Articles in this issue include Gray Ramblers of the Hills by Bill Nelson, Trapping the Hoosier Hills by Gayle Boroff, Spring Rat Sets, Mid-West Trapping Department by L. A. This issue of Fur News magazine is dated October 1916, it is in pretty good condition for being over 100 years old, the spine shows some wear and the lower right hand corner has a very small section missing, it appears someone wrote their name across the top of the front cover. Fur News magazine later became Fur News and Outdoor World magazine which then became Fur Fish Game magazine September 1925. Some of the articles in this issue are; A Tragedy of the North by William MacMillan, Memories of Brown October Arthur Reynolds, When the Trapper Awakes by J. A. Newton, Upland Game Birds by G. B. Buchanan, New York Fur Auctions Sales, Fishing by Geo. Murphy, Fur Farming, Dogs and An Old Timer's Adventures in the Adirondacks by W. H. H. Murray. $18.00 SHIPPED.




This issue of Fur News magazine is dated July 1920 it contains 48 pages and is in good condition, it does show wear on the spine otherwise it is nice it measures 9 1/2 inches by 12 inches. Fur News magazine was the forerunner for today's Fur Fish Game magazine. Some of the articles in this issue are; A Delightful Fishing Trip by Charles Webb, Jim Smiley's Trapline, The Trapping Grounds and Mineral Belts of Colorado and Wyoming by A. C. Rowell, A Review of the Past 5 Years Trapping in Alberta by Raymond Thompson and How Bud Plummer Made Good On The Trap Line by F. W. Howard. $18.00 SHIPPED.



This vintage issue of Fur News magazine is dated July 1919, it contains 48 pages and is in good condition, there is some splitting on the spine and a tear/hole in the front cover, the covers are still firmly attached and the inside pages are very crisp in very nice condition. Fur News magazine later became Fur News & Outdoor World and in September 1925 became the current day Fur Fish Game magazine. The front cover shows a raccoon caught by Fred Gilman of Morrill County, Nebraska. Articles in this issue include A Month's Deer Hunt in Maine by Fred Sauter, Jim Smiley's Trap Line by Jim Smiley, Wild Bee Hunting by J. A. Newton, Afield With the Camera by Walter Chansler, News of the Fur Trade, A Fox Hunt on the Baraboo Bluffs by F. W. Howard and regular departments such as Dogs, The Gun Rack and Woodcraft. $13.00 SHIPPED.
