What are your thoughts on using these for large BG's like 280/330s? I've tried 'em a bit & have mixed thoughts. It worked OK. In some cases, maybe I didn't stretch enough spring tension into the top of these...or maybe I didn't spread the base apart enough.

I didn't like them on 330's.

It's been a few years since I tried them, but I remember they being too narrow and they did not hold the trap stable side to side because of it. The staking with two wires leaves a lot to be desired.

They did a pretty good job when you used 2 of them on the 330s.

I could see them working better if using 2 on a 330 sized trap.

I just used them for 220s and smaller in game trails for coon, otter, or mink. They worked fine, but harder to extract from frozen soils than a stakelizer . And I've tended to lose them here and there because they are just the stand and not also the stake.

I've only used them on 120 and 155 size traps. They were great on muskrats. I run a piece of wire from one of the springs to the stabilizer to prevent losing them.
