I have about 2 acres to mow and it isn’t a ‘lawn’ w/ nice bermuda turf. Lol It’s a yard with tough grass. Cub Cadet died today and need to look for something tough enough to handle this. Recommendations? I have no preference- zero turn or tractor either one is fine.

Thank you. So far, I’m finding Walker, John Deere, and Bad Boy here from a quick online search.

Xmark, I just got a 50" zero turn & love it. They make several different sizes in both walk behind and zero turns. Might make a garden style, but I wasn't looking for that when I was shopping. Dennis

OK, maybe I like to over analyze stuff:
Assume out of those two acres you have a house, garage, outbuilding, and driveway of average size. You still have over 1 3/4 acres of open "lawn" to mow.
Have you considered putting some of that ground to work by planting a garden? You sure have the space for it, while still maintaining your "park".
The garden needs work, and the park needs mowing. If that's a possibility, you have narrowed your search down to a garden tractor with all wheel steering. There are a few out there, but, I'd be talking to my John Deere dealer

We use a toro zero turn for our manicured lawns with centipede and my zoysia grass. For tough junk grass on our farms we use a 6’ hardee bush hog behind a Ford 5000.

I hate mowing grass. I don't mind about 30 minutes of it. I figured out what 30 minutes of grass mowing was and let the rest go. I planted native plants and grasses in the rest and let nature have it back. Every couple of years I burn off the dead stuff in the spring. I much prefer fishing to grass mowing...

I really appreciate everyon’e input. Bad Boy’s hometown is about an 1:15 min from me. I’m looking at John Deer too. Some of the others brands mentioned, not sure if there’s a dealer close by yet.
