Appeal of "Sweet" Coon Lures to Other Furbearers? #6349383

I plan on using sweet lures (such as Caven's Moonshine and Kishel's Coon Digger II) this season. I'm targeting coons specifically, but was wondering if those types of lures hold any appeal to other furbearers, like canines and felines ( I know that opossum and skunk are attracted to just about anything and are probably unavoidable. grin )

(Sorry folks...I phrased my question above poorly when I first posted it. I'd like to target coons only, and was wondering if Moonshine and/or Coon Digger II held any attraction to furbearers other than coons.. I'm hoping that they are coon-specific lures)

Thank you in advance.

Got a coyote by the front foot in a little #11 sleepycreek (old style) at a "coon" dirthole using moonshine coon lure and grawes big stinky coon bait in the hole.
Rats and beaver love pocket sets with moonshine lure too. Stake for an elephant, set for a mouse.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

I've used Grawes "Sweet Pete" in my cage traps for coon with very good luck. But I've also got woodchucks, possums, farm cats and I think a barn rat 1 time.

No skunks though!! grin

I once caught 2 reds in DPs using marshmallows and cat food mixed with cheap syrup and vanilla extract. I was pretty shocked to find that.
