fished with some last week at the outer banks. it smelled ripe after a week in the bait cooler. just wondering if anyone ever tried in a coon/canine set?

I had the same experience this summer fishing so I bought some more. I ground them and let them age for four days. They got really ripe really fast! I haven't tried testing them yet but will soon. My thought is I might have over done it on the tainting process but I'll put them in some test holes and see what the coyotes think.

Add salt and yes they work great. Sour shrimp is a great pocket set or dirthole set bait.
