Thought I was a good trapper until I started trapping coyotes......
Thought I was a good bowhunter until I targeted mature bucks....

Yes it's a badger. It has claws and 5 toes. A cat only shows 4 toes.

I believe that's the first badger track ive ever laid eyes on! Pretty well non exsistant here! Strange figured they would leave claw marks as big as their claws are.

Are badgers part of the feline family? There tracks almost scream feline! KEN ive only ever seen two badgers in my area in my life! Im always listen for badger siteings I wanna catch one bad! I think our lack of natural grass land effects there population

Still scratching my head here...I have a week off from work starting today....I'm thinking about going after him, will bowhunt this area anyways and check traps on my way out...

I'm not ever sure what a primed one vs an unprimed looks like as far as if one was mounted or tanned for the wall..

If I did get him it's just another taxidermy bill...

Hope you find one...if you can make it to Michigan before the season ends by all means it's yours to trap...
