Any pattern to how much noise a raccoon will make when caught? Seems that some caged quietly wait it out while others are a tiny bit more vocal. But in the dp's--some raise quite a ruckus!

Would it be safe to say that the juveniles are generally noisier?

They seem more docile in a cage, sometimes even playing dead.

I have no evidence on which coons are noisier, but I prefer them to be loud. Typically the louder coon draws in more coons, and at times other predators in my opinion due to curiosity. Coons on feeder sites would be one family with a loner or two until food became scarce and they would fight over it. Five coons would turn into 12-15 rather quickly.

Mine are always quiet when I approach. Then when I get within dispatch distance, the gloves come off.
