Last night I got my barrel stove together and decided to burn the paint off. I couldn’t seem to get it hot. I had 2 year old hedge for wood. It seemed like it was starving for air. Do you guys put extra air holes in? Also I did not have a pipe on top, I was just coming right out the fleu. Didn’t know if that would make a difference.

My friends call me "The Savage"

Add the pipe and yes, I installed a 2” piece of GRC in the front with a cover on it that I can slide back and forth to control the air.

I have a barrel stove and like these guys said, add an upright and you'll get draft.

I have 12' of rise and it gets to woofing with good wood in it.
