Sure. Late October here can get pretty wet and at night we’ll experience some night freezing by early November. Because of that, my traps are all in waxed dirt right up front.

2 back feet is very unusual I would say. I can see 2 front feet. Cool, keep catching them.

Thanks Wayne. Two of those were caught on 1080 smeared on a T-bone and the others on John’s grab and pull. I don’t even know why I dig holes anymore.

What kind of set had you made?
What was the trap position to the attractor?
Pretty work too!

Kind of what I always do. One dirt hole and one T-bone usually about 25 feet apart. For the dog in question, I had a t-bone hammered down a hole. I don’t worry too much about exact distance from the attractor. It’s a dogless trap but the “dog” side usually faces the attractor. Sometimes I go 10 or 2. I just try to make the pan the best place to step. Whether it’s a dirt hole or flat set I try to use a small bush, clump of grass, or cow pie as a backing. Sometimes a rock. They really like t-bones around here.
