I use them to center mount my chains to my double longs and they hold up very well. Jim
Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

I got a 100 count bag this summer at a convention that is crap, the things open up like a wet noodle when I pull them out of the ground! I have no doubt that they will hold a coyote just fine, but I have never had these issues before............. I had some like that also. Would not trust for coyote. I use only 3/16" links and they have held 40 lbs. yotes. I would do a pull test on those SS link just to be sure.

I would not trust them. 3/16” is much better, at a minimum.
There is always the possibility that you might catch a coyote with a tougher more aggressive temperament or larger than average, or both in one animal that could over power the standard gear. Then again, what you catch may not be a coyote. I have caught and held non-coyotes up to at least 150 pounds. I would not have wanted that or others running off with my trap.
Consider different possibilities to be safe.

If you’re going to use the 1/8 inch quick links I would highly recommend doubling them up. 3/16 inch quick links I just use the one and I have never had a problem. I’ve had the 1/8 inch quick links come apart when pulling anchors and no longer trust them unless they’re doubled. I’ve held coyotes with doubled up 1/8 quick links numerous times.
Edited to add that I’ve had the cheaper 1/8” quick links come apart when pulling traps and anchors by hand without an anchor puller.

Obviously I cannot see how you are rigging, but you may want to use a crunchproof swivel to connect to the chain on the super stake.

Boss Paul; sells the good ones and has as cheap a price as you'll find anywhere, 3/16 for $37/100.
