I think I am going to make the trip this year. Now that the convention is in January the weather may be more of a concern but I’m guessing they know how to handle it up there.

I've got family over there and always say I'm gojng to visit them and do the program but when the time comes I can never find the will to make the drive.

North Bay is a great town,and lots of trappers from the USA come to the convention every year.

I think the new time sucks. I have to be at the Toronto boat show for two weeks at that time. If it stays at this time I will never be able to go!

I have my room reserved at the Best Western. Now I just have to drive there. I plan to drive up on Thursday (about an 8 hour trip)

I will be driving up on Thursday the 17th and should be there by Dinner time. Are there any "must visit" restaurants and things to do in North Bay?

Sounds like a fun trip. It would be between 9&10 hours for me. I will make it up there one of these days to see Boco frost scrape something. That’s the only bad part about working a weekend shift job. You gotta choose which one of these events you want to take vacation to attend every year. The 4 days off every week is nice though.
