I want to leave the front feet on fox when I board them. Do I just make a short cut at the wrist to get the foot out ? and stretch it slightly before turning ? And do I leave that leg and foot to the inside after flipping fur out ?

Use loppers Les and cut the foot bones just under the wrist joint. Then when you skin it down to the pad,you can separate the toe bones by running a fillet knife between them. Then pull each bone with a visegrip and snip off at the last joint with one hand pruners. You can use scissors to cut the fat off the pad so the footskin dries better. You can leave the legs inside when you turn it.[Linked Image]

Cut from the pad to the elbow. skin out.
I use wood stretchers, I leave the leg inside until I flip to fur out. Insert a hanger half and tack out

For sale.

So...do I make a cut from the elbow to the pad no matter in or out. It would seem so.

Here is a fairly in depth (though long) video where he skins on the feet of a wolverine and lynx. It would be the same idea with a fox. If you want to watch just the foot start it at 29:30.
