I’d check them as early as you can, in order to prevent educating the others.

We have to check submerged body grip by the 3rd day but I would check a set up like you made daily for at least a couple of checks or as long as I was catching every day. When the catch slows down, I would then ship a day or 2.

Give the traps a chance to work,2-3 days would be good.Hard to tell by the pic but they look a bit far out in front of the den entrance.

Prime winter pelts and top notch coyote/cat bait too.
I have nothing clever to put here.

Are you trapping out of a Smart car? Holy heck that has to be TIGHT! Not to bad. Like trapper les always says. Only set as many traps as beaver that you want to clean. I only have 6 traps set. Car has a lot of room in it.

Prime winter pelts and top notch coyote/cat bait too. I don't trap cats or coyotes. No cats in my area and never tried for coyotes.

Glad its working for you, dakidsmn.I see you used the blocking sticks between the traps, that is the critical element to setting like that so all the traps produce.

I missed this thread, But, nice haul. I've been bringing along a couple fur bags with me for what ever I catch, including one for skunks, should that happen. Keeps wet fur from sticking to anything that could damage it.
