Caught in trail set coming from river this morning. Landowner was with me and very happy with my results so far. Thanks to all of you for the help!

Good job!
I don't think it was going anywhere.

Thanks guys. I was concerned using the 220s but after seeing this nothing to be worried about.

Now that otter is truly stretched ..out... and needs to go on a forming board.

He was either a hard charger or trying to squeeze underneath that trigger- doesn't matter now.

Good catch. But the reason for suit casing Is to much trigger travel before the trap springs.

Ok beav let me know if I'm on the right path here. To take out some of the travel would one file down the dog or squeeze the trigger to take out slop? I've looked in archives for details but can't find any.

Thank you Paul. I was thinking that was what I had to do. Now I have another one for you all. Could the suitcase be from triggers not placed in the correct location? I have caught coon in this exact same trap and trail with it being caught right behind the ears. After the beav made that comment made me think, so I went back and checked my notes and pictures.
