I caught 7 rats today on my first trip to the marsh. 2 of the rats i skinned appeared to have castor sacs.
Do rats have castors?
One of the rats had a yellowish jelly like coating under its skin. Ive never seen this before.
Anyone have any idea what could be going on with it?

If those are glands they are huge and you don't normally see them this early.
