Anyone on here use there bibs? And what style of them do you have? Upgrading from carhart extremes. They just aren't warm enough. It'll be hard convincing the wife on a $500 pair of bibs though. Or what else do you recommend for bibs. Thanks

I have used them but it was back in the 90s. They donated bibs and parkas to all Yukon Quest officials. I was a race judge for a few years so got a set to use. They are good no question about that. Im not sure what changes they have made since then but Im betting they are still very good. My only complaint was that they were bulky. I wouldnt want to wear them all day on the trapline. Northern Outfitters is having a big sale on their bibs right now. Guess they are discontinuing them so prices are 50% off. I just ordered a pair.

I have Klim bibs and like them a lot. They are very durable, comfortable and seem to go a good job down to -40 with two layers underneath without being too bulky.

I’ve got a set of Striker Ice bibs I like. Never got cold in them, did get too warm a couple times!

I wear apocalypse parka and some other misc clothing if theirs. Always considered buying a pair of the bibs but keep going back to refrigawear. I usually get 3 seasons + out of them Never been cold in and a lot cheaper.

Actually my full suite is refrigawear my bibs are polar king by key. Both have been great even traveling in -20 and colder.

Aknative. Those Striker Ice bibs look good and warm. Are they bulky? Hard to walk in?

It's hard to order something online without being able to try it on.

They are a bit bulky, my Outdoor Research size large gators won't fit over them. I don't think they're hard to walk in, I just need to make some gators that fit over the legs. Call them, talk with them about sizing and measure yourself according to their instruction, which might posted on their site, I don't recall.
