The cat I refer to that Sid caught was weighed in by the MN DNR. Not much more I can add.

Osky I'm not doubting they exist but there aren't very darn many and I'd like to see one.

They have the big Cat contest in Texas where you have to shoot 5 Coyotes before you can enter a cat. I would like to see what the average cat has weighed in the last 10 yrs or how ever long it has been going. The heaviest bobcat turned in at the West Texas Big Cat contest weighed 42# in 2009. In 2018 it was 38# Of the heaviest 5 years since the contest started 10 years ago the average is 37# 3 ounces.
Sit on your horse on top of a ridge, look out across the country and tell me there is no God.

Not bobcat, but I've got a lynx running my property that's gotta go at least 75 pounds. Heck, I printed out a trail cam photo, and just the picture weighed 4 1/2 pounds.

It'd be interesting to know what the average weight is of the northern/midwest bobcats
