one toe OP trapper O Joined: Mar 2017 Posts: 101 Pa	The Snare Shop makes one, as does Z traps. Anyone have experience with either? The one Z trap makes has a back door for loading/cleaning out bait. Is it a feature worth considering?

If they have plenty of food, give them something interesting to smell

Willy Firewood trapper W Joined: Jul 2017 Posts: 2,672 Ohio	I prefer the snare shop trap because it keeps raccoons away. Baited with skunk treats. When I setup for skunks, I want to catch skunks. The biggest one I ever got was squeezed in so tight that I had to stand on the trap and pull him out by his hind legs. After he was dead , of course. Occasionally I run into one that won't go in the tube and I have to set a cage but not that often. I just bought two of the Z traps. Found them on sale at my local Fur - Fin - Feather for $34.95. They look like really good traps. I'm sure they will work as well as the ones from Snare Shop.
