I`m no snare man but headed to Mississippi at the end of January.You guys that have dipped snares do you prefer speed dip or Dakota line dip?

I usually spray paint mine also, but just did some in Newt's Formula One (brown) and came out pretty nice.

I have spray painted some before but thought I read somewhere that some like the dip better.PineDoggin did you do anything to get the oil off before dipping?Was their any tackiness to them when you where done?

The last thing you want to do is speed dip your snares. Formula One was made for snares and has worked for me with no problems. I haven't used Dakota Line dip so I can't comment on it.

Well I really see no need to dip a snare or for that matter paint them.
