Has anyone ever had any issues with Sportsman's Guide? I ordered a bunch, and I mean a bunch of stuff off of them for my kids for Christmas as well as myself, some snares and some other stuff. Well I ordered it over a week ago, and it still hasn't been shipped. So I sent them an email late last week. They sent me an email late Saturday night saying to call their "order compliance department" So I did that this morning. The order still hasn't been shipped out (It's Xmas eve, so there goes my daughter's Christmas presents). They said they have to verify everyone's addresses due to fraud....so why in the world did nobody reach out to me? She said someone tried to call me the day after I placed the order but got a busy signal...Since when do iPhones get a busy signal? Also, one try and then just give up? I paid hundreds of dollars... She didn't seem concerned at all. She waived the FedEx second day air fee, which honestly doesn't matter since I paid for second day air so it'd get here before Xmas...She said it'd be shipped out today. I had called them at 7am...it's now 3pm and if they're any farther east that the pacific time zone, probably closed by now and it still hasn't shipped out. I keep hearing these great things about the company. I scored some screaming deals...but at this rate, I will never get them and will never order from them again...am I the only one to have any sort of issue like this? Kind of bummed my daughter can't accompany me on my line with her sweet monster footprint snowshoes that I had ordered...

Where ya live is one thing negative in their favor, your order late for Christmas is another, however that does not excuse their phone behavior.
I ordered stuff from them years ago, never had issues, however I live way below ya as well.
Seems it does not matter what anyone say's about getting things to or from Alaska, it's always different than promised.
It has been for me any way, I've grown accustomed to not relying on what anyone say's about shipping from there to me, and just make allowances for it !
Sorry if my opinions or replies offend you, they are not meant to !

I always found them quick to ship, however they didn't back up their shipping insurance deal and threw me under thew FedEx truck, seems like porch pirates got me, and they said tough crap. I finally got a refund, but I have never done biz with them since. Also, ion the middle of this cluster flop, they just billed my Credit card for a buyers club re-up without asking.
Likely they were insanely busy with the holiday, but their 1-800 # is manned 24/7.

I've had them get snotty on the phone before. I don't order from them anymore unless it some super deal and I'm not in a hurry. They have all gone down hill. Cabelas sucks now also. Got my 22 ammo a week late and then one of the bricks was opened (at the Wearhouse) and 100 rounds, two boxes were missing! I called and they straightened it out but that would have been unheard of a few years ago.

I have not ordered from them in a long time. I shall keep this in mind as they have a double ladder stand I was thinking of getting a couple of for the kids. I placed an order with them last week on Tuesday (~1600). It was on my porch Thursday afternoon. Normally it takes them 2 days to get the order ready and 3-5 days for shipping. Unless the item is back ordered I get my orders in less than a week. I think that is pretty good.
