I thought all my sets were basically coyote sets, but it seems I catch more cats than dogs. What is a dedicated cat set or is there such a thing?

I dont think you can dedicate a set enough to keep possums and coon out. You can block the crap out a set to try to spook a coyote out of it but you can still pick up the odd coyote sometimes.

Even rabbits n skunks check out lures, cats like the smells too, if you can keep the cats they probably a better price than coyote

Many cats are taken in coyote sets. Few coyote are taken in cat sets. There are two main differences between coyote and cat sets. Coyote sets are natural in appearance and use only inconspicuous guiding. Bobcat sets are flashy, unnatural in appearance, and are heavily guided. A lure that works good for one usually works fairly well for the other. Curiosity is a trait of both animals. Coyote are nervous and cautious. Bobcats are confident creatures that for the most part do as they dam well please.

I got a good number of adult male coyotes in my cat sets in Boulder piles, after snow falls the coyotes hunt the sunny side of hill for rabbits and stuff, just like the cats.
Sometimes a cat lure will attract one that ignores other sets
