Finally got a couple inches of snow last night. Then it started raining in the middle of the night and hasn't stopped since. This is really putting a damper on my coyote restraint game. Had just enough snow a little over 2 weeks ago to start and I managed to get 22 of them so far but I'm about on hold now! Most of the snow we got last night is already melted and I'm sure the last of it will be gone by morning. Unbelievable weather for this part of the state for the end of December. Just had to pout a little. Guess I should be happy with what I got. Carry on trappers....

I think a lot of us have similar situations. Weather is sure keeping me on my toes.

Wish I had more time to trap....

Think the entire nation is experiencing “wet” weather this year. It’s almost the weekend and look...expecting another 2-3”!!! Every...freaking...weekend!!

Yep same here we had some rain for two days, and now it's blowing 30 mph and supposed to get to 10 degrees tonight. Sure is hard on the domestic animals around here. I'm glad I don't have any traps in the ground.

35 degrees and rain yesterday and now they are saying it's going to be 4 degrees tonight. The tiny bit of wet snow we have now will be like concrete this weekend. Not good for finding yote tracks. Might just have to set some under ice beaver sets instead! Good luck guys and gals!

160 send some my way! We did get a little bit today. Might be enough out there to find a few tracks now. Gotta take a few days off from killing coyotes for a fishing trip but then back at it .

The problem Is that the clock Is ticking on coyote primness. Maybe the lack of snow will make a difference. But I've looked at a few already and they are starting to break down.

I agree Beav. The December dogs are always my best. But I ain't stopping till I get my goal of 50 this year. The last three I got look really good. The two before those tho showed some wear and tare

Lots of rain here...
Creeks are rolling and need a 4x4 quad to get across some places. All my sets are mini swimming pools.
Really disgusting - along with grinners mess'n up every k-9 set I make.

Shawnee National Forest - We live out here because we're not all there.
