What a relief, for a while there I was concerned that maybe you were a bit paranoid.

Best place to buy if needed.
Get a checkup, and ask for a copy of your prescription.

I went through the same thing. When you take a step it seems like the ground isn't where it's supposed to be. Messed up my golf game for awhile. Try focusing farther out when walking. After a couple of weeks your eyes will have adjusted and problem will disappear.

Take the price tags of the lenses and then have another go.

Luvgov, I didn't say someone else paid for it. I said insurance paid for it. I pay the insurance premium, so I paid with the premiums I paid in the past and into the future. This isn't really a difficult concept to understand.

33 here. Got them a few months ago. My buddies actually pointed it out that I needed them. Dove & Duck numbers weren't what they used to be and I couldn't account for the sharp drop. The first few days it was funny then it lasted the whole season and they were on me to hit up the eye dr. Also had some night-driving issues, the same as you mentioned that I just sucked up and dealt with.
They aren't strong prescriptions but it took a good week for my eyes to adjust to them. It was trippy and definitely made it worse before it got better. Fogging up with a face-shield on now is my only problem. Rifle scopes weren't an issue but I did re-verify all my scopes at the range with them on and had to adjust about 80% of the reticles.

The fogging up part is already annoying me. Also I can see my own eye balls in the reflection of the lenses.
I did mention to the Dr. that I got into a fist fight ten years ago and broke my orbit bone in my face that holds my eye in position. Maybe that's why he gave me glasses that make me seem shorter and lower to the ground than I really am. It may keep me from running my mouth to people who could whoop me, as my size-o-meter is calibrated on the small side. I believe quitting drinking and staying out of saloons helps alleviate most of my opportunity for broken bones.

That's your problem you are looking "at" your glasses and not "through" them. Miz has that same trouble in the car. If there is something laying on the dash that reflects on the windshield, she can't help but focus on that reflection instead of looking beyond it.

I've worn glasses since for 55 years. When I switched to progressives for reading it took a couple weeks to get used to them. Hang in there. Can't tell you how many times my glasses have kept something out of my eyes when in the woodshop, cutting wood or sometimes when you least expect it. My wife begged me for years to get lasik and I had a customer who was one of the best in the US, but I didn't ever do it.

They are kind of a pain at first but eventually everybody needs readers. For shotgun shooting I got a pair of Decot shooting glasses but I don't even wear them anymore when shooting.

Actually, I believe it would take a helmet with a really tight chin strap.

Joking aside. I used to wear glasses and without them I could not make out the letters on the keyboard, let alone read whats on the screen. So around 8 years ago I had lasik surgery and have never looked back ( pun intended )
To date I have 20 / 20 vision in the daytime and have a little green and blue shift around dusk. Makes blue lights look like stars. Anyway if someone tells you that you are to old for LASIK don't listen to them. having used bifocals riding a motorbike is not fun when the wind starts to buffet the helmet and the glasses start shifting.
I suppose that is not a concern to Harley pushers as they never repack that speed....... but on a windy day in the wrong direction it might happen.
Anyway i reccomend LASIK instead of those frames any day of the week.
By the way it smells like fried meat when they do that, so eat before you go in or you will start to drool.

The guy is going blind and you guys are relentless.

I got glasses about 8 years ago, redid them once and have had the last pair for 4 years. I don't have to have them to drive, and they are bifocals, but, if I wear them, I can see the detail in distance better. I have astigmatism in both eyes,
