How often do you catch coyote on a remake after a bobcat. Just thinking I never have caught coons and possums.

Cat smell is good, probably just a coincidence you haven't caught a coyote in a cat remake, I've caught a good number of coyote in cat sets using cat lures. I use cat urine on some of my coyote sets A lot of those caught in cat sets were big male coyote

The only re-make I won't make within the same catch circle is after catching a badger. I have never caught anything after a badger anywhere in the catch circle, not even footprints to check out the scene. Can anyone else confirm this or have a different opinion? I love remaking after a coyote catch, I can be almost guaranteed to catch another one in that spot. Well duh! No one can remake a set at a badger catch...unless you bring in a backhoe to re-level the ground that is. Just joshing, I have only ever caught one badger in a trap and that booger dug EVERYTHING up except the stake. Stupid badger! I did snare one another time and he must not have had enough time to really get the claws going before he got choked out...but man, those things can dig!

I have caught 4 this year which is higher than normal for me and only one of them actually dug! Kind of freaking me out.. But no kidding half the time I catch one I don't even know it until i'm like wait a minute there's a hole to china over there

I caught a little grinner, 4-5 days later a bobcat (male), couple days after that a red fox and after a couple more days a grey fox. Might change the trap out because the pan tension is getting pretty low. Been trying to catch yotes but just can't seem to do that.

I get a lot of catches at remakes. Love remakes. Had one coyote set produce three this year and another produce two. I get coyotes after catching about anything else first but especially another coyote. Mange doesn't seem to matter either. Badger remakes are the best. Huge eye and scent appeal. A dirthole remake in that mess with some bait is a sure coyote for me later. Remakes for me just get better and better. Jim

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.
