Pulled one of my carcass cam cards.
Pretty neat watching this cat cover his food after each feeding.
Even neater, seeing the way coyotes acted around it. They circled it but wouldn’t touch his food.

There were two coyotes on video a few hours before he showed up to I assume guard his food. He never fed. Just watched over the carcass.
Btw this was a natural deer kill found on my land. Was not planted and I do not know what killed it. I put this camera on it the day after it was killed. [Linked Image]

Those are great pics! I put a cam on a hog we killed and all I got were buzzards. Didn’t take them long to pick a 150# hog clean.

Carcasses and cameras go together like soup and sandwiches...

This was also a dead deer I found that I think was hit by a car as it was about 100 yards from the road. In one of the pics the bear is covering it up the same way the bobcat did in the OP's pic of the bobcat.

That’s really cool footage of that bear covering it up.
Curious, do your coyotes spook from the IR flash after dark? Some of mine see it and run, others look directly at it and could care less.

Quality of my pics not good, I’m running in video mode, therefore had to take screenshots just to post pics here. Can not figure out how to post videos here.

Thought I was a good bowhunter until I targeted mature bucks....

Yeah it was, you should have seen his body language and demeanor change after those coyotes (two big males) urinated around it. Tail was twitching, ears laid back. He was aggravated.

There’s a tuft of grass at that trail intersection where every coyote that passes pee’s on. Dying to put a set there when this weather passes.
