Has anyone caught a wolverine that went an honest 50" nose to base?
I have a buyer that seems to think it isn't terribly un-common.
I call B.S.

I'v caught a couple really big ones but I don't think they would measure that long, generally. I think that would be a rare occurrence.

Back in the day, for five seasons, I graded hundreds of wolverine and never saw one that size. It would have to be an extremely large wolverine boarded on a 5 inch wide board and stretched with a come-a-long.

A guy I trust said he got one this year. I've caught a bunch of them and none of mine have been that big but its possible. A trapper in Alberta caught one last year that weighed 53 pounds on a certified scale, and a fellow in AK had one that weighed 55, so its possible.

Pretty much what I figured. The one I got last year was what I thought to be outstanding, for these parts. 44" on a real wolverine board.
