Do you guys prefer lure or bait in the pipe? Or maybe both?

It can be bait or lure as long as they want to lick or eat it ! If I’m using the bigger one inch pipe it’s not hard to get bait in, if I’m using the smaller 3/4” pipe I’ve been having good luck with Wayne’s 1080 .

I put both in mine. I have been using John Houben’s VnC. It is an M44 Bait he made for some control work, but he doesn’t make it all the time. I also use an M44 lure, or a lure like said earlier that they want to bite or lick along with the bait. I have really been liking Ed Schneider’s Tall Grass Supreme lately. This is one set where you don’t really want a gland lure that they are just going to smell and either pee or move on.

You want something that's going to make them want to pull the pipe out h ground ,smear baits which high food appeal and m44 lures is what you want

Mark is making a lure just for the pipe set , he calls it pipe dope. I have quite a few pipes out and I use only one thing in each pipe. I have had good luck with lucky as bait in the pipe and this year I added marks lure to my bag. I have been catching fox on both.
