What do you snare guys do when off road access for a long line is impossible due to snow amounts? How do you maintain baits? Snare locations? We have been snowed in, and access is impossible to replenish baits and so on. Yes I have a snowmobile, but my line is spread pretty far and wide. Do you just do road accessible bait locations, dragging baits by hand, fighting through waist deep snow? This is the first year since starting snaring that we have had an impossible amount of snow. Been scared of this scenario, and here it is!

Any ideas appreciated. Thanks.

Had 2 years in a row of it last couple years on the cat line.
Starting out one of those years nov.2 nd with 16 inches of snow on a coyote line. Sled and plowed roads is it ,,,, weather will certainly sort you out quick.
Drifting probably another concern .
Sled might be the way to imo coyotes in that country are worth a nickle or 2 shekles.

That's what skandics are for.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

If you have a snow machine take a day and go break trail and let it sit a day. Smooth sailing after that. Those bait stations you got out right now should be the cats meow in deep snow!
