Which is better a trapping basket or jet sled and what brand name. For water trapping

My trap basket is a Toyota pick up 😁.
But when I do need to hoof it I use a husky hand carry tool bag. I have used most of the other types of baskets but thehand Cary is the best I have found so far.

You'll want both. Buy the best you can afford.

You can make a good trap basket out of a plastic trash can and some backpack straps. I used an 15 gallon trash can I had laying around, and one of the kid's extra backpacks. All I had to buy was some nuts, bolts, and washers. Total investment: $2.00.

Montana beaver bag. Love it for k9 and water line I have both preadator and beaver bag I Cary all traps sifter etc in beaver bag over shoulder and put my baits lure in the coyote bag that you carry it works awsome for my style

I have both and there is a time for both, but find myself using the sled more & more without the basket. This is for water trapping and it's a jet brand sled.

Hands down a Loring Packbasket is more expensive but sooo worth the the money!!

I love my Fiber-Tuff packbasket.

A little makeshift... going to do some organization and work to the garbage can just to make life easier.

The pack is a Slumberjack Rail Hauler designed for packing out meat. A regular ole trash can fit on the frame just perfectly.


The design of the harness make carrying a load MUCH easier. I couldn't imagine carrying what I did with a normal pack basket and straps.


I bought the pack for it's intended purpose....but, having it double as a trapping pack just worked out great.
