3 mink from yesterday. Puts me at 23 for the season. Only 7 more to meet my goal.

Good job. I was hoping to get into some this season but knee surgery slowed me down till rite before Christmas and then most everything froze up so I'm hoping for next season.

I have around 25 pockets plus 4 portable pockets and 3 bottom edge sets at 11 stops. And 11 have come within 4 miles of my house. Right now, I have one stop that is about 10-11 miles away. Everything else is within 8 miles or so from my house now. 22 have come from pockets and 1 from a portable pocket, all baited with fish.

Mostly Duke 1.5 coils and most of those are double jawed. Some have Mike Kelly's mink pans on them. Plus, a decent amount are fully modded Victor's. All my dukes with regular pans are night latched and I've tweaked them in other ways also. And a few dukes with mink pans are laminated and base plated. My preferred mink trap is the double jawed dukes. Plus, most have cable instead of chain.

Just enough to keep your hand in it, eh? Nice job.

Thanks Muskrat. Unless I'm on vacation, I cannot run much more plus my coon traps. I have 11 stops at this time and it takes about 2.5 hours after work. I will be weeding some out very shortly as the ice hit big time overnight last night. Time to find more spots where the tiles are draining into creeks or ditches. Or are the head waters for the start of creeks.

Good to have a few sets out there working. Picked up a few 'rats this afternoon from colonies in BE sets. Just enough to keep things interesting.

Thanks MIL. I hope to hit my goal. But, as I've told several people, I'm up against mother nature. And this weekend doesn't sound good. Right now, my county is looking at a possible 20-24 inches depending upon the track of the storm. Gonna set everything off for a few days later this week.

Hard to tell in my immediate area but I'd say 4-5 inches. But it rained most of the morning and afternoon. Then it switched over to snow late afternoon/early evening. This morning it was basically -10 degrees so everything is getting locked up tight. I still have part of my line to check but I'm betting most everything will be frozen in. Gonna have to find more tiles and set those until it warms up a little this week.
