How do you guys/girls pull them out?

modified bumber jack works the best!

Tile spade, dig em out. I use mainly 12".

I have tryed several different types and a bumber jack is the best.

cut a notch out of the foot so the cable will come straight up.
Take a small piece of chain with a hook on it to hook the loop in the stake and come up to the hook on the jack.

jack it out of the ground.

Trust me once you use one made like this you will love it. extremely easy and fast.

...easy on the cable... prying can and does stress even the best stuff.

I use 1/8 inch cable. it can take alot more stress than 3/32. I haven't seen any problems with it hurting the cable but it will sometimes pull out of the aluminum ferruls. Im switching to annealed 5/16 nuts hammered on now. they hold alot better.

If you can, leave them in the ground for next season. When I pull 'em I take along a section of heavier trap chain thats about 5 feet or so with an s-hook on the end. Attach the s-hook to the cable stake loop, get a good wrap around both hands with the opposite end of the chain, get a good footing, and then pull like a winch.

Remember to wear a heavy pair of work gloves and careful of the clay..

i stand over top of them and pull em outta the ground.. only have one here and there i cant pull

I was told to use a atv or truck. Hook it on a cable and on the stake and it should be out. But be carefull.

I make my stake ends 3 inches long and 18 inches of cable. Ain't no pulling them out by hand thats for sure. lol

KB puller , but weld the hinge shut cause it will torque in frozen ground. Best one I have used and easiest also.Pulls em or breaks em

I've dug up quite a few in my day but that runs into to much work. at least with 18 inches of cable. with 12 inches like Mark uses its probably not as bad.

lennitrapper i would like to see you pull mine out of heavy clay. lol Not saying that theres no possible way you couldn't but you would have to be a brute. either way i would like to watch.

ADC those work pretty good most of the time. after you pull a few with it though you start to feel it. lol

I think I'm going to end up getting one like ADC had pictured.
