Thanx for all the replies guys , I should have said it is barbed wire ,. There are no deer in the area so that isnt a problem , I guess a kill pole is the answer but I would likely need one both side of fence in order to catch and kill them based on directtion . Eagles are another problem so snare would have to be checked daily since they tend t like feresh coyote liver .
Moving the bait would make no difference as there is no brush anywhere in my permission area to set in . Got some snow yesterday so may be some trails show up now , I sat the bait yesterday afternoon and got 2 dogs , so that me be my best option .

Trail cameras are a great tool for learning and seeing what goes on at crossings. The camera will provide photo images of what/when/how many etc. used the crossing. Looking at tracks only tells you what the last critter was that used the trail/crossing.

I think it's been mentioned in other threads, make sure its a "black flash" camera. Old style flash would probably be okay too, but a regular LED flash will make them hightail it out of there.

nThanx , I have used a camera a bunch in summer but never late like this , I'll try one .
