Hi,

Years ago, someone near me who is an attorney runs the BIG FOOT RESEARCH ORGANIZATION, this is the group that you see on tv all the time. I asked him why no one has ever shot a bigfoot before. In a straight face he told me, there is no bigfoot season, and it would be illegal to shoot one.

So in my pursuit of Sasquach...... Do you think it would be legal to trap one? Suggestions on what type of trap?

In all seriousness, has anyone ever seen anything strange in the woods? I've talked to professional garage door installers that told me of a lot of underground bunkers out in the woods no one would ever find.

Even if you staked the heck out of it, no commonly used trap is likely to hold a bigfoot because they have decent manual dexterity, extreme strength and could just use the releases.

You should dress up as a female bigfoot and lure them back to town with you.

I have never seen anything that appeared to be supernatural in the woods.

I thought the Bionic Man proved that Bigfoot is just a man in a costume?

The Bigfoots here in the PNW feed on tree huggers and granola crunchers so we leave them alone

I cannot tell our Trap preferences because I make them. And our Rules here do not Allow Advertising!

However; my preferred SET is the Double Tree walk-through Set. Using big riverbank Ironwood trees. Oh and Snap bangs tied to the trigger with confetti in them!

Yeah, now I remember: you (Tweeker) were at that "Big Foot" thing that was on TV featuring the Kinzu area between Warren and Bradford PA. Knocking on trees with sticks n such and whopping calls in the night. Were you the one out in the resivoir on a boat with the Big Foot Predator Call (coon) with maybe Dennis Kirk back in the 80's: he never came back cause some say he saw a Bigger Foot. Things get spooky in the NF.: My wife attended those meeting and she ant been the same since then and now we watch that crap on TV instead of F&T.

Just curious, in most states are unlisted animals protected by default? In AK unlisted, non-domestic animals are legal by default., “Unclassified game” not otherwise restricted is “no closed season”.

So you can betcha I’ll drop a Sasquatch given the chance!

Ours was that way once apon a time, but now at the bottom of our season/bag limits it say every other bird or mammal is closed season.

So what's not listed having a season, is off limits.
