Sold my fur at our local auction, Catt County Trappers Association at Hinsdale NY. Didn’t stay for the whole thing so don’t know averages for all, just my numbers.

9 green coon - 2.25 avg (all early caught)
2 male mink - 8.50 each
11 rats - 3.95 avg
6 early red fox - 7.75 avg
8 winter red fox - 16.90 avg
1 female fisher - 36
2 coyotes - 33 each

Had a good season and looking forward to next year.

Were there any put up later season coon there for comparison type prices? I see the big difference in the flat versus later season reds and wondered if there were enough coons there to show some differences.

Bryce, I didn’t see a lot, but did see some prime put up coon go for 15-18 dollars. I was surprised by those prices to say the least.

Why be surprised? With all of these so called millions of coon on hand,I find it funny there are buyers wanting thousands of coon.

It just hacks me to see red fox go that low...
Such a cool animal and great fur.
